Islamic Affairs Ministry Organizes Imams and Preachers Qualification Course in Philippines

San juan city: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by its Religious Attach© Office in the Republic of the Philippines, in cooperation with Green Hills Association, organized the first course to qualify imams, preachers, Islamic scholars, and students in San Juan City in Metro Manila, with the participation of 150 imams, preachers, Islamic scholars, and students.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the course covered a number of Islamic scholarly topics, foremost among them sound Islamic creed, promoting the principles of moderation and balance, and answering participants' inquiries.

The first course is part of the scholarly and dawah programs implemented by the ministry outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which aim to promote sound Islamic creed, strengthen the approach of moderation and balance, and qualify imams, preachers, and Islamic scholars, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's mission to serve Islam and Muslims and promote values of tolerance, coexistence, and peace around the world.
