Dhahran: The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) has concluded the 10th edition of the iRead competition, held under the theme "Reading leaves a lasting impression," at its headquarters in Dhahran. The closing ceremony was attended by President and CEO of Saudi Aramco Amin Nasser, along with various intellectuals, writers, and literary figures from Saudi Arabia and the Arab world.
According to Saudi Press Agency, six readers from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya competed in the finale, presenting their chosen readings, engaging in intellectual debates, and answering questions that tested their knowledge. The winners were awarded various titles in recognition of their achievements during the competition.
The two-day festival featured a program of events, including book signings, meetings with authors and intellectuals, poetry readings, panel discussions, and debates that reconnected the public with reading.
