Jeddah:The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) made its debut at the 4th Saudi Fashiontex Expo, which took place in Jeddah from September 24 to 27, with a pavilion that highlighted the contributions of several Japanese fashion and textile companies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Japan's Consul General in Jeddah, Daisuke Yamamoto, visited the JETRO pavilion, where he observed an array of fabrics, textile materials, and specialized products presented by nine Japanese companies. During his visit, he engaged with company representatives to discuss potential collaborative opportunities and strategies to enhance the presence of Japanese products in the Saudi market.

In addition to his visit, the consul general delivered welcoming remarks at a workshop held during the exhibition. This workshop provided a platform for the participating Japanese companies to present their products and initiatives, focusing on their contributions to the fashion and textile sectors.
