It has been a tradition for hundreds of years for pilgrims to visit the Historic District, particularly the central area of Al-Balad, which witnesses a bustling trade of various souvenirs and heritage treasures that pilgrims eagerly buy for their families and loved ones.

Among the top purchases made by pilgrims are carpets, prayer beads, and precious stones adorned with images of the Kaaba, the Grand Mosque, or the Prophet’s Mosque.

They also underscored their keenness to make the most of their scheduled trips by visiting the prominent cultural and heritage sites, markets, and centers in Jeddah, which are bustling with diversity.
