Jeddah: Governor of Jeddah Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi checked on the Hajj and Umrah Terminal Complex at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah today to assess operational progress and observe the services provided to pilgrims by government and operational entities at the airport in preparation for the 1446 AH Hajj season. He was accompanied by several airport, security, and operational leaders.
According to Saudi Press Agency, representatives of government and operational agencies at the airport briefed Prince Saud on their readiness to receive pilgrims, the services offered, and the initiatives planned for this year’s Hajj season.
Prince Saud also visited the passport control hall, where he was briefed on the human and technological resources dedicated to serving pilgrims. He also reviewed the “Makkah Route” initiative, implemented by the Ministry of Interior, and the efforts to streamline procedures for pilgrims.
The prince also toured the health center at the Hajj and Umrah terminals, where he was briefed on the medical services provided to pilgrims and the center’s efforts to intensify health awareness, ensure adherence to health guidelines, and maintain the safety and well-being of pilgrims.
