KFSHRC Hosts Swiss Delegation to Foster International Healthcare Partnerships

Riyadh: King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) in Riyadh welcomed a Swiss delegation led by Dr. Martina Hirayama, State Secretary for Education, Research and Innovation in the Swiss Federal Government. The official visit was aimed at exploring strategic partnerships and expanding collaboration in scientific research and innovation in specialized healthcare.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation included Swiss Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Yasmine Chatila Zwahlen and representatives from prominent Swiss academic and research institutions such as the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and ETH Zurich-Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. These institutions are recognized for their contributions to technological advancement and research excellence.

The KFSHRC press release noted that this visit underscores the increasing global interest in the hospital's model, which combines clinical expertise with advanced medical technologies. The hospital has achieved groundbreaking milestones, including the world's first fully robotic heart and liver transplants.
