Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language recently concluded its Arabic Language Innovation Accelerator, celebrating the achievements of startups and entrepreneurs in Arabic language technology. The program aims to empower participants by offering intensive support to transform creative ideas into scalable projects, thereby enhancing the Arabic language's presence in innovation and entrepreneurship.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Academy's Secretary-General, Professor Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, emphasized that the accelerator is a unique initiative reflecting the Academy's commitment to building an integrated system of technical projects that enhance the Arabic language. Since its inception, the Academy has fostered collaboration with entities supporting innovation and technology, thereby enhancing the program's effectiveness and providing a development environment conducive to project growth.

The accelerator, launched in January 2025, is the first specialized program by the Academy to support Arabic language innovations. It aims to build a community of young leaders in linguistic innovation and position the Arabic language as a significant investment area in Saudi Arabia. The program focuses on developing technical solutions through practical training, advisory support, and connecting projects with investors and experts.

The accelerator is part of the Academy's broader initiatives in educational programs, contributing to promoting linguistic innovation, empowering digital Arabic content, and building specialized national capabilities. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, advancing the role of the Arabic language in the Kingdom's innovation landscape.
