Pristina: Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti on Saturday received Imam of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Dr. Bandar Balila, member of the Council of Senior Scholars, in the capital, Pristina.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit is one in a series of official international trips by imams of the Two Holy Mosques organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, as part of a broader initiative to strengthen global religious and cultural ties.

Prime Minister Kurti expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims and promoting the values of moderation and balance.

For his part, Sheikh Balila thanked the Kosovar leadership and people for their warm welcome and hospitality, emphasizing that such gestures reflect the deep bonds of mutual respect and affection between the two nations.
