Geneva: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), in partnership with the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, organized a cultural event to commemorate World Arabic Language Day. Themed 'Innovative Pathways for Arabic: Policies and Practices for a More Inclusive Linguistic Future,' the event took place on December 9-10, 2025, at the United Nations Office in Geneva. It saw the participation of representatives from diplomatic missions, international organizations, and cultural institutions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the celebration included a panel discussion titled 'The Presence of the Arabic Language in International Organizations.' This session featured representatives from several international organizations, who explored strategies to enhance the status of the Arabic language and support its use in international institutions and forums.
The academy's celebration of World Arabic Language Day at the headquarters of international organizations aligns with its ongoing efforts to elevate the global standing of the Arabic language.
