Dar Es Salaam: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered a 25-ton shipment of dates as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Republic of Tanzania today.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Ambassador to Tanzania Yahya bin Ahmed Okeish handed over the gift to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation and Member of Parliament David Chumi during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dar es Salaam. The event was attended by several officials, a KSrelief team, and members of the media.
On this occasion, Ambassador Okeish expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for their continuous humanitarian and relief efforts across the world.
