KSrelief Donates Six Ambulances to Mauritania’s Health Ministry

Nouakchott: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Monday delivered six fully equipped 'Class A' ambulances as a grant to the Mauritanian Ministry of Health in Nouakchott. The donation underscores the ongoing support and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Mauritania in the health sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Raqabi handed over the ambulances to Mauritanian Minister of Health Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Ely Mahmoud. The ceremony was attended by senior officials and members of the media, highlighting the significance of the occasion.

The Mauritanian health minister expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for its humanitarian support. He emphasized that the ambulances are among the newest and most advanced available, reflecting the strong fraternal ties between the two nations.

This grant is part of the Kingdom's broader humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief. It aims to bolster the health sector and enhance emergency medical and ambulance services in Mauritania, contributing to improved healthcare delivery in the country.
