Kabul- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched on Thursday an aid project to distribute $3 million worth of food assistance to flood-hit communities and needy families in Afghanistan for the year 2022-2023, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Following the launch of the aid project, a total of 550 food parcels have been distributed to 550 families at the Afghan Red Crescent Society in Kabul Province.
The assistance comes within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts through KSrelief to support the brotherly Afghan people and alleviate the suffering of those affected by the devastating floods across the country.
