KSrelief Provides Medical Services to 2,351 Syrian Refugees in Jordan’s Zaatari Camp

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided in the third week of July medical services to 2,351 patients in the Zaatari camp, in Jordan, which houses Syrian refugees.

At the general medical clinics, 697 patients were examined and given medication; 115 patients were examined at the internal medicine clinic, and the pediatric clinic attended to 240 children.

The emergency department received 254 patients, and the dental clinic attended to 115 patients. Additionally, 165 women visited the gynaecology clinic. The ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 59 patients. The eye clinic attended to 43 patients, the cardiology clinic saw 19 patients, and the diagnostic radiology clinic served 24 patients.

Furthermore, 662 laboratory tests were conducted on 255 patients, and 157 X-rays were performed for 107 patients. The vaccination clinic administered 91 vaccines to 36 patients, and medications for chronic diseases were provided to 224 patients.

The health education department provided gu
idance to 28 beneficiaries, and the pharmacy handled 1,509 prescriptions.
