KSrelief’s Masam Project Helps Clear 670 Mines in Yemen in a Week

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project, focused on mine clearance in Yemen, successfully dismantled 670 landmines across various regions of Yemen during the first week of August 2024.

This included 5 anti-personnel mines, 47 anti-tank mines, 570 unexploded ordnance items, and 21 explosive devices.

Since the inception of the Masam Project, a total of 453,968 landmines have been removed. These mines were indiscriminately planted across various areas in Yemen with the intent of inflicting harm on innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
