Kuwait, The death toll of a fiery fire that gutted a multi-story building in the southern district of Al-Mangaf early on Wednesday has jumped to 49, Kuwait News Agency quoted the Ministry of Interior (MoI) as announcing.
The Kuwaiti MoI Security Information Director, Major General Nasser Abu-Slaib, affirmed in a press release that the landlords of the burned building would be harshly penalized.
Personnel of the MoI’s directorate general of criminal evidence are investigating the causes of the fire and currently identifying victims.
