Shaikh Ahmed Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the State of Kuwait, received here today the Bahraini Ambassador to Kuwait, Salah Ali Al-Maliki.
Ambassador Al-Maliki presented the Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister with a copy of a book entitled “An Epic of Sacrifice in a Brothers’ Ordeal: The Role of Bahrain during Kuwait’s Invasion and Liberation of 1991”, published by the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat).
The two sides reviewed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, as well as ways to enhance them in various fields to serve the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
They also discussed a number of regional issues of common interest.
