Bishkek: The Kyrgyz Parliament honored the office of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) in the Kyrgyz Republic by awarding it the Parliament's Medal in recognition of its contributions to implementing humanitarian and development projects that have served the local community and supported development efforts in the country.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker Marlen Mamataliev praised WAMY's efforts and diverse projects, affirming the support of the parliament and government agencies for the continuation of its mission and the facilitation of its activities in ways that enhance its humanitarian and development impact and contribute to the continuation of its programs and service to the community.
Director of WAMY's office in Kyrgyzstan Dr. Mohammed Madi said the honor recognizes WAMY's humanitarian and development work, as well as the programs and projects it implements to serve communities and promote the values of giving and development around the world.
