Baabda:Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari at the Presidential Palace today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Al-Dosari conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to President Aoun.

The discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing cooperation between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Key topics included Saudi Arabia's support for Lebanon's sovereignty over its territory and resources, as well as efforts to ensure security and stability in Lebanon. President Aoun expressed Lebanon's backing of Saudi Arabia and its initiatives to safeguard its land and citizens.

The meeting also highlighted the positive outcomes from the decision by HRH the Crown Prince to lift the suspension on Lebanese exports to Saudi Arabia. This move has resulted in a steady increase in exports over the past three months, showcasing the effective collaboration between the countries to resolve import and export challenges.
