Minister of Environment Witnesses Signing Investment Agreements of Over SAR4 Billion at Middle East Poultry Expo

Riyadh: The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley has witnessed the signing of agreements worth over SAR4 billion that encourage investment in the poultry sector and enhance food security. The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the Middle East Poultry Expo held on Wednesday at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center under the slogan 'Maximizing value and reducing costs: Value engineering in the poultry industry'. The agreements will contribute to driving agricultural development and encourage investment in the poultry sector in the Kingdom, and are an opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency, enhance food security, and diversify sources of income in the Kingdom, in accordance with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030. The exhibition, the largest and most comprehensive in the poultry industry, hosted over 300 companies from 40 countries, including companies and experts in the poultry and animal health and nutrition sectors; its goal was to pr omote the use of modern technologies, and help the exchange of experience and practices in the poultry sector.
