Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah spoke by telephone today with European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
The minister and Borrell discussed the continuing escalation of military operations in Gaza and its surroundings, the harm to unarmed civilians, and the importance of the international community playing its role to stop military operations and prevent the forced displacement of Gaza Strip citizens.
The foreign minister stressed the need for Israel to adhere to international humanitarian law, including allowing food and relief supplies to reach Gaza and lifting the siege on it. He stressed the importance of working to find a just and comprehensive political solution to the Palestinian cause, ensuring security and stability in the region and the world.
