Ministry of Commerce and Chinese Counterparts Address Consumer Challenges in Saudi Automotive Sector

Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce held a high-level meeting in Riyadh, bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Chinese Embassy in the Kingdom, and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the session focused on addressing pressing challenges faced by consumers in the Kingdom's automotive sector, specifically concerning Chinese car dealerships. The meeting examined the current and projected state of Chinese automobile sales in the Saudi market and reviewed ongoing concerns related to after-sales services and consumer complaints.

Both sides emphasized the importance of improving after-sales services and strengthening cooperation to meet the growing demand for Chinese vehicles in Saudi Arabia.
