Istanbul, The Ministry of Health is a key partner in the ”Makkah Route initiative” in Istanbul, within the Pilgrim Experience Program, ensuring the health of pilgrims before they arrive in the Kingdom. The Ministry of Interior initiative enables pilgrims with health certificates to move smoothly through a dedicated lounge at Istanbul International Airport and proceed directly to their accommodations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without the need for any additional procedures upon arrival.
Now in its sixth year, this initiative is part of the Pilgrim Experience Program, one of the programs under Saudi Vision 2030, implemented in cooperation with several government agencies.
