The Intelligence Agency announced today, Wednesday, the seizure of more than (200,000 tons) of oil derivatives inside a factory in Basra Governorate.
“Based on accurate intelligence information, the agency’s detachments were able to seize a factory used for illegal trading and smuggling of oil and its derivatives within Basra Governorate,” the agency said in a statement.
It added that “(10) iron tanks and a hole (12 m x 12 m) were found within the site containing oil products, with a total of more than (200 thousand tons), and the seized materials were dealt with duly and handed over to the concerned authorities.”
