Music Commission Concludes Opera Training Program in Italy

Milan: The Music Commission has completed a training program in Milan and Rome aimed at honing the artistic abilities of Saudi opera singers through a global experience.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the 18-month program provided four Saudi trainees with specialized instruction at leading Italian institutions, including the Milan Conservatory and the Rome Opera House. It focused on developing their vocal, theatrical, and instrumental skills, as well as deepening their understanding of music theory.

With over 1,800 training hours and intensive workshops on performance and technique, participants showed significant improvement, highlighting the program's educational and artistic success.

This initiative aligns with the commission's ongoing efforts to empower Saudi artists and elevate their presence on the global music stage, in line with the Kingdom's cultural sector development goals.
