Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of India: In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa commended the positive stance of the Pakistani and Indian leadership, highlighting their commitment to wisdom, diplomacy, and prioritizing national interests in resolving tensions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa praised the swift response of both countries to the ceasefire efforts, recognizing their decisive action in sparing their nations from the repercussions of this dangerous conflict.

He also reaffirmed support for these efforts and all initiatives aimed at achieving peace and prosperity for both peoples.
