Riyadh, The New Murabba Development Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced its invitation to leading design firms from Saudi Arabia, the region, and around the world to participate in the upcoming phase of the Mukaab project, according to a press release from the company.

This project marks a significant step forward “in the transformation of the iconic Mukaab: a visionary landmark set to illuminate Riyadh’s skyline and serve as the centrepiece of New Murabba’s transformative downtown,” the release said.

According to the release, the company has achieved several milest
ones in its journey to bring the development to life. It has made significant progress in establishing the initial stages of design and foundation. The company aims to complete the final design by Q3 of 2024. Additionally, it has completed excavation of nearly 5 million cubic meters and is set to commence piling activities during the second quarter of this year.

The company is actively seeking partnerships with industry-leading firms specializing in post-concept design, independent design review, quality engineering services, and construction stage supervision.
