Riyadh: Football fans across the Middle East and North Africa witnessed a landmark event in Riyadh, where Spanish football star Gerard Piqu© launched the new regional edition of the Kings League, named 'Kings League MENA,' as part of the 2025 Esports World Cup.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event featured the announcement of the participating teams and their presidents, who are among the most prominent and popular content creators. The list included Team SXB, Team DR7, Morocco's Team Ultra Chmicha, Egypt's Team Turbo, Jordan's Team Red Zone and Team 3BS, and, rounding off the list, Team FWZ.

Piqu© welcomed the addition of these teams to the Kings League's global network, comprising tournaments in six other markets, including Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Latin America, and Spain, and featuring two global championships: the Club World Cup and the National Teams World Cup.
