Arar: Governor of Northern Borders Region Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, who also serves as the Chairman of the Hajj Committee in the region, presided over the meeting of the Main Hajj Committee for the year 1446 AH in Arar today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the plans of entities involved in the Hajj season. Discussions covered operational readiness across various sectors, including security, health, and services. A significant part of these preparations is the field readiness at the Jadidat Arar port, which is expected to receive pilgrims coming by land from Iraq.

Prince Faisal highlighted the importance of integrating efforts and coordinating roles among different sectors to ensure that pilgrims receive services of the highest standards. The meeting also addressed various topics on the agenda and approved recommendations necessary for the successful implementation of this year's Hajj plan.
