Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) has announced the completion of a sewage network project in parts of the Laban district west of Riyadh, with an approximate cost of SAR31 million, as part of NWC's strategic plans to support infrastructure in the water and environmental services sectors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project involved implementing over 32 kilometers of sewage networks, designed to provide service to more than 11,000 residents of the district. NWC confirmed that the project is part of their efforts to reduce environmental damage, address optical distortion, improve environmental service quality, and keep pace with Riyadh's urban expansion.
The company stressed its commitment to continuing the implementation of infrastructure projects according to approved schedules to ensure the provision of high-quality, sustainable environmental services and to achieve the water sector targets set forth in Saudi Vision 2030. NWC called upon its customers in the Laban district to request the new service through its official channels, via either the mobile phone app or the website.
