Over 7.8 Million Worshippers Perform Prayers at Prophet’s Mosque Last Week

Madinah: The Prophet’s Mosque received over 7,808,112 worshippers and visitors for daily prayers last week, with comprehensive services provided by the General Authority for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque to serve and care for the worshippers and visitors.

In a statistical report on the services provided to worshippers and visitors at the Prophet’s Mosque last week, the authority indicated that 550,960 visitors were honored to greet Prophet Muhammad and his companions. The report mentioned that 304,519 male and female visitors performed prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, following the organizational procedures for crowd management and visitation schedules for men and women.

Moreover, the authority reported that 13,436 elderly individuals and persons with disabilities benefited from dedicated services last week. As many as 303,869 visitors of various nationalities utilized multilingual communication services. The Prophet’s Mosque library served 13,507 individuals with its knowledge services, while exhibi
tions and museums received 5,466 beneficiaries.

In addition, 177,549 diverse gifts were distributed to visitors as part of the services provided for the care of worshippers at the Prophet’s Mosque. Regarding field services, they included providing location guidance to 316,117 beneficiaries and mobility services between the courtyards and gates of the Prophet’s Mosque to 69,221 visitors. Additionally, over 136,800 bottles of Zamzam water were distributed, along with 216,524 Iftar meals in the designated areas for breaking the fast at the Prophet’s Mosque.
