Presidency for Religious Affairs to Host Closing Ceremony of Hajj Season, Acknowledging Success Partners of Hajj 1445 AH

Makkah: The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque will hold the closing ceremony for this year’s Hajj season tomorrow in Makkah. The ceremony will take place at the presidency’s headquarters and will be attended by partners involved in the successful implementation of the Hajj system, security personnel, and presidency officials.

During the ceremony, the President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, will present the Media Excellence Award for the first edition of the Hajj Season to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). This award recognizes the SPA’s media efforts in highlighting the wise leadership’s endeavors in serving the Two Holy Mosques and the religious, directional, and instructive support provided to pilgrims. The agency’s success in broadcasting the Arafat and Eid al-Adha sermons through its website and digital platforms, as well as its collaboration with major news agencies through Islamic and interna
tional media partnerships, translated into multiple languages, will also be acknowledged.
