Riyadh, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani said that holding of the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit came in exceptional circumstances as the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are subjected to genocide in front of the world.
During his speech at the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh, the President of Mauritania addressed the distressing scenes of destruction and the deliberate killing of innocent and defenseless individuals in the Gaza Strip. He firmly emphasized that these acts represent abhorrent crimes against humanity, constituting a violation of human rights and dignity.
The President of Mauritania placed great importance on safeguarding human values and stressed the need for societies and international law to intervene decisively. This intervention should aim to establish a ceasefire and ensure the unhindered entry of humanitarian aid to address the urgent needs of the affected population.
