Abu dhabi: Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz stressed that the world today looks forward to strengthening the values of peace and human understanding, praising the role of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in embodying this unifying vision.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this came during his participation in the first plenary session of the 11th UNAOC Global Forum, titled 'Leading Responsibly in a Multipolar World: Revitalizing Multilateralism through Inclusive Dialogue,' with the participation of a select group of international leaders and officials.

Prince Turki noted that human civilization is one in its roots despite the diversity of cultures and the multiplicity of their branches, describing it as a single tree stemming from a shared human origin. He added that this places a responsibility on world leaders to preserve dialogue and cooperation as the only path to stability and peace.

He called on world leaders to recall the values upon which the United Nations was founded and to work toward empowering it to fulfill its true role, stressing that revitalizing multilateralism can only be achieved through aware and responsible leadership that places the interests of humanity above all else.
