Jeddah: The Red Sea International Film Festival concluded its fifth edition, attracting a wide array of films and filmmakers from around the world, alongside a remarkable turnout of cinema enthusiasts. Audiences enjoyed a diverse program of screenings that blended pioneering Saudi productions with distinguished regional and global films, underscoring the festival's significant impact and its pivotal role on both the regional and international film scenes.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Red Sea Souk emerged as a highlight of this edition, serving as a platform that brought together filmmakers, production companies, and distributors and provided dedicated spaces for networking and partnership building.
The festival has also played a key role in supporting the local production ecosystem by empowering emerging Saudi projects and providing young directors with opportunities to develop their work through the Red Sea Lab and its funding and grant programs.
