Ambassador of Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Park Joon-yong has visited Taif rose farms in Al-Shafa, in Taif Governorate, accompanied by a delegation of Korean investors.
The ambassador was briefed on the farmers’ experience in planting saplings on terraces and the stages of production of derivatives of Taif roses through both modern and traditional techniques.
Director of the Office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Taif Eng. Hani Al-Qadi stressed that the agricultural sector in the governorate is promising and bound to attract projects that have a positive impact on the development of the sector, encourage farmers to increase their production, and create job opportunities for the youth and boost their interest in agriculture.
