Riyadh: The Roads General Authority (RGA) has urged drivers and road users to strictly adhere to safety guidelines during rainfall while traveling among cities across the Kingdom as part of its efforts to safeguard lives and reduce traffic-related fatalities. The authority advised drivers to avoid areas with water accumulation, use windshield wipers and hazard lights as needed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead, and stay within designated lanes. It also emphasized the importance of avoiding excessive speed and sudden braking, which can increase the risk of accidents under wet conditions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, RGA reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing safety and readiness across the Kingdom's road network and to achieving the objectives of its road sector development programs.
