SABIC CEO Calls for Intensified Global Partnerships to Boost Petrochemical Industry Resilience at GPCA Forum

Bahrain: SABIC CEO, Executive Board Member, and Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Chairman Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh called for intensifying regional and global strategic partnerships in the petrochemical industry during his participation in the 19th Annual GPCA Forum, held in Bahrain from December 8 to 11.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Fageeh emphasized that strategic partnerships, especially between the public and private sectors, are necessary for supporting economic resilience, production efficiency, and long-term industry growth. He stressed the petrochemical sector's fundamental role in economic diversification, accounting for about one-third of the GCC's manufacturing value and over 4% of its GDP.

SABIC actively participated in the forum, engaging in discussions on innovation, leadership, sustainability, and cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence. The company also highlighted its leading role in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices at the GPCA Sustainability Pavilion, showcasing its technologies and innovations in sustainable development and plastics solutions.
