SAFAR Live Music Series Concludes at Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art

Diriyah: The SAFAR live music series concluded yesterday evening with a performance by one of the participating music groups at the Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art in the JAX District, Diriyah. The series wrapped up its events, leaving an indelible mark on the local cultural landscape.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the SAFAR program concluded with a practical masterclass and a final performance, comprising three main concerts that showcased a variety of musical genres and cultures. This reflects the museum's commitment to enhancing cultural collaboration and providing enriching artistic experiences to the public.

The program coincided with BIENALSUR 2025, held under the theme 'Let's Play: A Labyrinth of Options.' This fourth Saudi edition of the International Biennial of Contemporary Art of South America will continue until December 31. It features 26 artists from both inside and outside the Kingdom, presenting works that include installations, performances, and interactive artworks.

In addition, the SAMoCA Forum (MUNTADA SAMoCA) was held from November 2 to 8. The forum featured discussions, film screenings, and hands-on educational experiences under the theme 'Focus on Image: The Tools, the Language, and Its Power.' It examined the role of imagery in shaping understanding of the world and how it is formed through practice and culture.

More than 20 thinkers and creators from within the Kingdom and abroad contributed to the museum's events. This provided a vibrant space for cultural exchange and dialogue, offering the public and emerging creators the opportunity to learn from leading specialists in storytelling and visual expression in the digital age.
