Saudi Arabia continues to advance in World Happiness Report 2022

Riyadh– The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continued its progress globally in the annual World Happiness Report 2022, which was issued by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and measures happiness indicators for about 156 countries worldwide, enhancing its status globally, ranking 25 despite the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic globally, compared to 26th in the 2021 report.

The indicators measured showed the Kingdom’s steady progress in the ranking of the happiest nations since 2017 till now, in light of the progress in achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and its flexible capabilities to adapt to the requirements of the development of quality of life in its various sectors.

The Kingdom excelled in terms of gross domestic product, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make life decisions, in addition to the generosity and confronting corruption.

The Kingdom had solidified social support projects and adopted economic programs that contributed to overcoming the repercussions of the pandemic, as these efforts contributed to the Kingdom’s steady progress at the happiness index worldwide.
