Saudi Chambers Head and US Business Council CEO Explore Economic Opportunities

Riyadh: Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Hassan Alhwaizy held discussions today with CEO of the US-Saudi Business Council Charles Hallab regarding the economic prospects between the Kingdom and the United States, in light of President Donald Trump's visit. According to Saudi Press Agency, the two parties reached an agreement on a plan to enhance cooperation between the federation and the council. This plan includes boosting the exchange of trade delegations, showcasing investment opportunities, fostering communication between Saudi and US companies, and tackling investment barriers between the two countries. Alhwaizy commended the council's role in supporting bilateral business cooperation and launching initiatives and partnerships between the business communities. Hallab highlighted the importance of President Trump's visit in strengthening the economic partnership and expressed interest in collaborating with the federation, focusing on sectors like mining, storage, renewable energ y, science, and healthcare. Discussions also focused on investment opportunities in modern technology, digital transformation, AI, financial technology, clean energy, and the green economy.
