Madinah: Omar Al-Shehri, a participant from a Quran memorization association in Khamis Mushait, won first place in the King Mohammed VI International Prize for the Memorization, Recitation, Tajweed, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran, held in Morocco. Competing against a select group of international participants, Al-Shehri secured top honors in the "Complete Memorization of the Holy Quran with Interpretation" category, marking a new achievement for Saudi Arabia on the global stage.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this victory highlights the dedication and skill of Al-Shehri, who represented Saudi Arabia in this prestigious international competition.
