Saudi-Egyptian Technical Committee for Maritime Transport and Ports Concludes 10th Session in Alexandria

Alexandria: The Saudi-Egyptian Technical Committee for Maritime Transport and Ports concluded its 10th session in Alexandria, Egypt. The session, held from August 5 to 6, was a part of the ongoing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Egypt in maritime transport and ports, aiming to expand areas of joint work between the two nations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the committee discussed several issues of mutual interest, including the review of outcomes from the previous session and the level of their implementation. The discussions also focused on enhancing integration between the ports of both countries, developing cooperation in maritime education and training, and reviewing investment opportunities within the sector.

On the sidelines of the committee's work, the Saudi delegation had the opportunity to visit Alexandria Port. During the visit, they toured its operational facilities, examined key equipment, and observed the services provided at the port.
