Saudi Quality of Life Program Organizes Panel Session during HLPF 2023 in New York

The Quality of Life Program, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 Realization Programs, has organized a panel session on the sidelines of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2023, currently held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

The session, titled “quality of life at the heart of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to achieve sustainable development goals,” was attended by the Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadhil Alibrahim, with the participation of representatives of Saudi government institutions and the United Nations agencies.

The panel session discussed the transformation the Kingdom has undergone in quality of life levels since the launch of the Saudi Vision 2030 as well as the global urbanization-driven improvement in quality of life, living standards, and healthcare. The session also underlined the importance of addressing climate change and the realization of the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.

Representatives of the Saudi Quality of Life Program, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the Al-Madinah Region Development Authority, and King Khalid Foundation participated in the session.
