Riyadh: The Saudi national futsal team secured a place in the final of the 2025 Continental Futsal Championship yesterday after a commanding 5-0 victory over Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals held in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi team began their campaign at the championship with a 3-1 win over Australia, followed by a thrilling 5-4 victory against Zambia. They wrapped up the group stage with a solid 4-2 win over Belarus.

This participation in the tournament is part of the preparatory program for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 Group D qualifiers. The qualifiers will take place in Dammam from September 20 to 24, where Saudi Arabia will compete against Iraq, Pakistan, and Chinese Taipei.
