Makkah: The Saudi Water Authority (SWA) participates in the Hajj Media Hub 1445 AH, which commenced on Monday and will continue until the 10th of Dhu Al-Hijjah, highlighting the readiness of the Kingdom’s water sector for this year’s Hajj season.
SWA distributed at the event bottles of the world’s first packaged desalinated seawater produced by the Shoaiba 4 system. The water is enriched with magnesium extracted using nanotechnology through ultra-fine membranes.
The SWA pavilion showcases the role of all water sectors in the Kingdom, and their contribution to the success of this year’s Hajj season. It provides daily updates on the water sectors’ activities, supplying all information, data, and statistics to media outlets and journalists to cover its activities and enrich the media content this year’s Hajj season.
Its effort reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of pilgrims, which enables them to perform religious rituals with ease and reassurance.
