Saudi Water Sector to Participate in Global Infrastructure Forum 2025

Riyadh: The Saudi water sector is participating in the Global Infrastructure Forum 2025, which will be held in Riyadh from September 15 to 17 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Water Authority (SWA) is leading the participation through a pavilion that will showcase the achievements of its affiliated entities and highlight their unique initiatives. The authority will also join dialogue sessions with a select group of local and international experts and specialists to discuss innovative solutions and future opportunities in the water infrastructure sector.

This participation underscores the water sector's pivotal role in developing the Kingdom's water infrastructure through major projects in desalination, transportation, strategic storage, and water networks. It also seeks to enhance geospatial governance for efficient asset and resource management, with projects spanning thousands of kilometers and investments exceeding SAR150 billion.

The authority affirmed that its participation in the forum reflects its leadership in the water sector and highlights its major projects, which enhance resource sustainability, strengthen supply reliability, and contribute to supporting the comprehensive development process taking place in the Kingdom.
