SCFPA and King Saud University Forge Strategic Partnership Through Memorandum of Cooperation.

Riyadh: The General Court of Audit’s Saudi Center for Financial and Performance Auditing (SCFPA) and King Saud University (KSU) have signed a memorandum of cooperation to share expertise, methodologies, and develop specialized capabilities in the fields of accounting and auditing. The signing ceremony was held at the GCA headquarters in Riyadh, marking a significant step towards a collaborative partnership between the two institutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum aims to establish a strategic partnership that focuses on key areas such as sharing experiences and methodologies, providing specialized programs, and developing human capital. The SCFPA was represented by GCA Executive Deputy for Shared Services and SCFPA Director-General Tariq Aljuraifani, while KSU was represented by the acting president Prof. Dr. Abdullah Alsalman during the signing ceremony.

The memorandum is intended to enhance SCFPA’s efforts in developing the capabilities, knowledge, and professional skills of GCA employ
ees and employees of audited entities. The focus areas include accounting, financial auditing, and performance auditing. SCFPA also aims to manage quality knowledge in these fields, offer research and consulting services, and strengthen community partnerships both locally and internationally.

For King Saud University, the agreement provides an opportunity to achieve its objectives by offering practical experience to outstanding students through cooperative training programs in specialized fields. The university also aims to enhance its employees’ capabilities in accounting, auditing, and review, while fostering social responsibility by supporting talented individuals.
