SFD CEO Receives Australian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, today at the fund’s headquarters in Riyadh, received Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom Mark Donovan.

During the meeting, they reviewed the SFD’s efforts to finance projects and development programs in developing countries worldwide since its establishment in 1975. The visit included an introductory tour of an interactive exhibition at the fund’s headquarters, showcasing examples of projects funded by the SFD in various developing countries. These projects demonstrated their sustainable development impact on beneficiaries, as well as their contributions to social growth and economic prosperity in those nations.

The SFD has a long-standing commitment to supporting development projects and programs. Over the past five decades, the fund has financed more than 800 projects and development programs across over 100 developing countries worldwide, with a total investment exceeding $20 billion. These efforts have significantly
contributed to promoting sustainable development in developing countries.
