Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on SCW’s 23rd anniversary.
The chairman emphasised HM the King’s continuous support of the council since its inception, emphasising how it has empowered women as partners in building the nation.
He underscored the ongoing commitment of the government, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in reinforcing the participation of Bahraini and ensuring their continuous contribution to the Kingdom’s growth and success.
Al Saleh commended HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim’s leadership of the council and efforts in advancing the role of Bahraini women and securing their achievements on local, regional, and international levels.
