Algiers: The 38th Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) began on Saturday in Algiers, with Saudi Arabia represented by Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh. This significant event attracted heads of parliaments, official delegations, and representatives from various organizations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference commenced with an address by AIPU President and Speaker of the People's National Assembly of Algeria, Ibrahim Boughali. He welcomed attendees and emphasized the potential for the AIPU to foster effective coordination among Arab legislative bodies.

The conference agenda included discussions on cooperation and efforts to enhance joint Arab initiatives.
